In the past history of ONE UI updates Samsung normally user the version name to 2 and then 2.5 then 3.0 and 3.1, but now Samsung is jumping straight to version 4.0. It is based on Android 12 and the company is already recruiting beta testers to try it out.

Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra owners are invited to sign up for the beta program, which will go live soon. Unfortunately, for now, it is only open to users in South Korea. Note: both SIM-free phones and those bought from carriers can participate.
