How to Update Windows 11 Without Waiting

Windows 11 is now available and will be rolling out for every Windows 11 compatible system and you can update windows 11 right from your system. If your PC or Laptop supports the minimum requirements for Windows 11 then your device will get the update soon.

But it’s not going to happen overnight, and many Windows users will be waiting for a while until that upgrade notice appears. But using some way, with just a little effort, you can download and install the new version of Windows 11 right now. For that follow the steps.

Windows 11 Minimum System requirements

Processor1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC).

Update Windows 11 via setting

you can check to see if the Windows 11 update arrived at your machine or not by going to “Settings” > “Windows Update.”  If you got the update then you are so lucky, Just click on the Update button. And if you haven’t gotten the upgrade yet, you will see a message for the new update. It means your device is compatible with the update, and you have to wait.

Go to the Windows 11 software download page.
Next, download Windows 11 Installation Assistant. just click “Download Now” and follow the instructions.

Before you begin to Update Windows 11 –

  • You have a Windows 10 license.
  • Your PC must have Windows 10, version 2004 or higher installed to run Installation Assistant.
  • Your PC meets the Windows 11 device specifications for upgrade requirements and supported features. 

Update Windows 11 by Windows 11 Installation Media

To update Windows 11 by ‘Windows 11 Installation Media‘ you want to perform a reinstall or clean install of Windows 11 on a new or used PC, use this option to download the media creation tool to make a bootable USB or DVD.

Before you begin to update Windows 11 –

  • you first need a license to install Windows 11 or have a Windows 10 device that qualifies for an upgrade to Windows 11.
  • An internet connection (internet service provider fees may apply).
  • Sufficient data storage available on the computer, USB, or external drive you are downloading the .iso file to.
  • A blank DVD disc with at least 8GB (and DVD burner) to create a bootable disc. We recommend using a blank USB or blank DVD, because any content on it will be deleted during installation.

If you have these required things then follow these steps to update Windows 11 –

  1. Download and run the media creation tool. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.
  2. If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.
  3. On the What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC, and then select Next.
  4. Select the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit) for Windows 11.
  5. Select which media you want to use:
    • USB flash drive: Attach a blank USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space. Any content on the flash drive will be deleted.
    • ISO file: Save an ISO file to your PC. This can be used this ISO to create a bootable DVD or Pendrive later using Rufus (Click here to Download).

And finally, you can download a Windows 11 disk image (ISO) for either bootable media or a virtual machine install. To download Windows 11 ISO file go to the Download Page (Click here to download Windows 11 ISO file). Next, choose your Language. And next, choose edition, and architecture (64-bit) for Windows 11 and click on the download button.

The download must be completed within 24 hours of the download link being created.

To create a bootable DVD or Pendrive later using Rufus (Click here to Download). After making the Bootable Pendrive or DVD you are ready to install Windows 11.
